Skill System

Experience Only Gained From Monsters
Formula for experience gained to level skills is

[Monster Level * Current Skill %] Divided by player level.

We have to do a check to see if the player did infact kill the monster himself, or if another person assisted. In which case it would be whoever gave the finishing blow to make the monsters health = 0
If that above is not suited. We can find a alternative way to see who gets to receive the experience.

Hand Attack – experience gained per enemy killed with punch

Short Sword – experience gained per enemy killed with short sword

Long Sword – experience gained per enemy killed with long sword

Axe – experience gained per enemy killed with axe

Hammer – experience gained per enemy killed with hammer

Archery – experience gained per enemy killed with range weapon

Shield blocking – experience gained while blocking

Magic skill – experience gained while using magic spells

Staff Attack – experience gained while melee with staff

Magic Res – experience gained while being hit by magic

Poison Res – experience gained after being poisoned

Mining – experience gained per ore mined

Fishing – experience gained per fish caught

Farming – experience gained per harvest

Alchemy – experience gained per item created

Manufacturing – experience gained per item created

These skills will level passively as the player uses them, Leveling the skills will increase damage/attack speed with the skill by X percent

As for mining level, Each % will increase chances for different ores from different mining veins.

Mining something like diamonds will take a higher percent etc.
